Development & Qualification
What do our customers say about our development process?
“Burteck’s qualification process gave us a mold that ran right out of the gate—no surprises, no delays.”
“They kept us updated through every stage of development, and their process documentation made startup on our own machines seamless.”
At Burteck, we don’t just build molds—we make sure they’re ready to perform.
Our goal is to deliver a tool that goes from shipping crate to production floor with minimal downtime and zero guesswork. That’s why every mold we build goes through a rigorous in-house qualification process at our fully equipped Molding Tech Center before it ever reaches your facility.
We start with a dry cycle evaluation, then move into full sampling and validation using scientific molding principles. Our experienced team fine-tunes every aspect of the mold’s function—from cycle time and part quality to repeatability and dimensional stability—so you receive a tool that’s fully de-bugged and production ready. You’ll also get a detailed documentation package, including process matching guidelines customized for your specific molding equipment. This not only reduces launch risk and on-site troubleshooting, but also allows your team to stay focused on maintaining your own production schedule.
With injection presses ranging from 110T to 340T, as well as capabilities for 2-component and liquid silicone rubber (LSR) molding, we’re equipped to test and qualify a wide range of mold types and materials. The result: faster ramp-up, fewer surprises, and tools you can trust to hit spec from the start.
Supporting critical industries with confidence
Medical
In medical manufacturing, qualification is everything. We understand the regulatory pressure and tight tolerances required in this field, and our scientific molding protocols ensure parts meet exact specifications—batch after batch.
Automotive
For automotive suppliers, timelines are tight and failure isn’t an option. Our validation process helps reduce launch delays and catch potential tooling issues early, so molds perform consistently under real-world production conditions.
Consumer & Industrial Products
Speed-to-market is a major driver in these sectors. Our in-house sampling and debugging eliminate the downtime and back-and-forth often associated with mold startups—getting your products into customers’ hands faster.
